چکیده
Este trabalho trata do filme de horror australiano Host (Rob Savage, 2020), realizado para o canal streaming Shudder, no primeiro semestre 2020, durante a quarentena que paralisou planeta por causa da pandemia COVID-19. Dirigido distância emular uma sessão espírita organizada seis amigos via aplicativo Zoom, filme, encenado atrizes e um ator com câmeras caseiras, traz ao plano mal-estar confinamento mediado pelos computadores celulares. A partir análise Host, buscaremos observar como esse nos oferece reflexões sobre primeira experiência global permeada pelas mídias digitais pela internet.
